KEY ACTIVITIES Implement Sunroc mission (Building a Better Community) and core values (We Value People, Our Word is Our Bond, Always Give a Full Measure, We Continuously Improve). Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. Perform other related duties as assigned. Be a dependable team member. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat. Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be 18 years or older Documentation that proves eligibility to work in the U.S. Attention and commitment to safety. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
