Laborer
Monday - Friday; 6am-4pm
Pay Rate:$17/hr-$19/hr
- Assist crew leader with driving directions to customer locations.
- Load and unload product from trucks and place in proper location according to customer requirements.
- Assist in preparation of residence to protect from property damage.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload customer product to either storage or residence in safe, damage-free manner.
- Prepare and protect residence from property damage with proper padding and floor protection.
- Place product in proper location in accordance with directives issued by crew leader.
- Assist crew leader with driving directions, reading maps, watching for road hazards, and changes in traffic flow or patterns.
- Maintain clean work environment free from debris and trash.
- Maintain control and account for all moving materials and equipment.
- Perform duties in efficient and safe manner.
- Participate in commercial office moves as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Skills: Good written and oral communication skills in English and able to understand basic instructions. Must be organized and a team player.
Work Environment: Travel in company owned and operated trucks. Environment includes, but is not limited to, homeowner's residences, warehouse, commercial offices, and outdoor work, with occasional office activities. Ability to lift and carry product (up to 100 lbs. without assistance), bend, walk, stand, stoop, see, hear, and kneel with or without reasonable accommodations.
