Associated Terminals, a leading company in the stevedoring industry, is currently seeking both entry-level and experienced Laborers to join our dedicated team. As a Laborer, you will play a pivotal role in the loading and unloading of vessels, as well as the movement of various cargoes throughout the terminal. This position operates in a dynamic marine environment and requires working in all weather conditions. Rotational shift work is also a part of the job.
Responsibilities- Handling various cargoes within the vessels and warehouses
- Inspecting cables and rigging components of the equipment
- Performing minor maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Providing directional signals to crane operators (Flagging)
- Lubricating all equipment
- Performing general rigging tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness of decks, warehouse, and ship holds
- Ensuring all walking areas are free of trip hazards and dangerous materials
- Cleaning excess oil/grease from equipment and work area
- Moving cargoes throughout the terminal facility
- Fueling equipment as necessary
- Using hand tools (shovels, sledgehammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc)
- Reporting all incidents through company's reporting protocol
- Supporting company safety initiatives
Qualifications- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card required

Work Environment- The incumbent will work in all weather conditions and at different elevations. Noise levels may require hearing protection. The job site will contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment, and tools. Rotation shift is required.
