Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials. Position Type: Full Time Pay Range: $23-$27/hr Location: San Diego- no remote work Travel: 10% Work Schedule: Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm Responsibilities Process and ship laboratory specimens per the protocol requirements Phlebotomy Conduct inventory of study-specific and Artemis laboratory supplies, keep an accurate record of all the inventory, and order supplies as needed Maintain working knowledge of the laboratory manuals for all study Maintain high-level organization of the laboratory and complete all necessary logs regularly Qualifications Licensed as a phlebotomist within the state of California required Previous experience with lab draws/phlebotomy preferred; willing to consider newly licensed phlebotomists with no previous work experience Minimum of one year of experience managing a lab, ordering, and inventory preferred Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service Excellent communication, punctual and responsible Extremely well organized Excellent verbal and written communication skills Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details Mature and pleasant demeanor Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
