Primary Talent Partners has an opportunity with a client of ours in the Pensacola, FL area. This is a contract position with a duration of 12 months and potential for extension or conversion.

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: M-F, normal business hours

Job Description:

Buffer/reagent preparation, membrane mix preparation, and preparing test solutions.

Completes physical testing and stability evaluations of samples utilizing a wide variety of analytical equipment.

Perform basic mathematical calculations and data analysis, which may require the use of a computer or calculator.

Communicate test plan, results, changes to the manager and colleagues in a timely manner.

Maintain complete and accurate documentation regarding lab notebook, labels, and inventory.

Maintain laboratory in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

Perform all activities in accordance with GMP requirements and established safety procedures.

Utilize quality concepts and tools in the performance of daily activities.

May perform laboratory experiments under close supervision.

May perform solution tests using specialized equipment per established manufacturing procedures.

Lift/move frequently 10lbs, sometime 25 lbs and occasionally 40 lbs.

Requirements:

Must have knowledge in general laboratory techniques such as filtration, glassware washing, micro-pipetting, pipetting, reagent preparation and weighing.

Experience with handling chemicals.

No chemical allergies or sensitivities.

Good manual dexterity, and attention to details.

Overtime may be required.

Position requires AS or equivalent work experience in chemistry or other life science.

GMP experience or previous training preferred.

Experience at a medical device assembly firm or in a clinical laboratory desired.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Must be able to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
