11 per hour benefits are available Description: Position Summary: Performs non-technical procedures in support of the testing process from initial set up of supplies to disposal of waste. Essential Job Duties: Manages storage of serum, whole blood, plasma, saliva and urine samples. Handles proper disposal of radioactive and biohazard waste.

Performs sample management tasks such as volumization, labeling, storage, moving storage boxes and preparation for disposal. Assists in locating missing samples and pulling specimens from storage locations. Properly discarding patient samples.

Adheres to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix, CLIA, CAP and other regulatory bodies. Documents all quality assurance activities as necessary including preventative maintenance logs, instrument function checks, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure regulatory compliance. Follows any other job-related instructions and performs any other job related duties requested by department management.

Required Education/Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Certification/License: None Required Work Experience: Entry level. Training will be provided. Physical Demands: Requires utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one's feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling.

and organizing sample storage boxes in walk-in freezers. Requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Working Conditions: There is regular exposure to potential blood-borne pathogens and radiation and walk-in freezers.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9pm-5:30am.
