Our client is actively recruiting for a labor & employment litigation attorney to join their firm in Cumming, GA. This is an exciting career opportunity with a well-respected boutique law firm that exclusively represents local and state governmental entities on a variety of legal matters including condemnation and eminent domain, code enforcement, torts, election law, and environmental enforcement, insurance defense, personal injury and more.

The partners are seeking an attorney with specialized experience defending businesses and individuals in labor & employment litigation. The incoming attorney will work as the primary point of contact for the firm's institutional clients and be trusted to handle cases autonomously with adequate assistance from the current attorney team and support staff. Interested candidates should be comfortable handling all stages of litigation up to and including trial and have a strong career interest and trajectory in labor & employment law. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor and employment matters
  • Defend businesses in employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
