Summary

The Label Operator follows written work instructions to provide support for the manufacturing floor through various functions including but not limited to the label printing process.

Duties

•  Accurate Data Entry
•  Follow all label-related policies and procedures.
•  Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
•  Ensure labels are correct before releasing to production floor.
•  Operate label-printing machines and escalate repair and maintenance when required.
•  Maintain appropriate levels of label stock.
•  Contribute to a positive team working environment.
•  Ability to work independently with little supervision.
•  Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements

•  Advanced knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•  Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit, and a "hands on" mentality.
•  Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
•  Demonstrated customer support and information gathering skills.
•  Proficient communication skills, both written and oral.
•  Communicate in person, over the phone, email, and internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner
•  Ability to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time. Education and/or Experience
•  High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Shift: M-F Day Shift
Pay : Up to $20/hr for well qualified candidates
