JOB SUMMARY The Laboratory Technologist will contribute to the accurate and timely diagnosis of a patient's medical conditions by performing, evaluating, and submitting test results on samples. They will be responsible for showing consistency and accuracy performing routing testing as required in one or more of the following lab sections: Blood Bank, Histology, Hematology, Urinalysis, Bacteriology, Chemistry, and occasional Phlebotomy duties. They will accurately perform specialized testing (e.g. therapeutic phlebotomy, assisting at needle aspirations or bone marrows, running the PHD analyzer, etc.) as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: + 2-Year Associates degree required + MLT or MT (ASCP) certification required within 6 months of hire.
