Covia is looking for a dynamic Lab Technician for 2nd Shift who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Technisand Wedron location in Wedron, IL. The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities: Obtaining and preparing product samples for analysis and storage Conducting various tests according to established laboratory procedures Utilizing various computer applications to compile, record and report test results Performing general housekeeping within the laboratory Following Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times Working in a physically demanding work environment The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications: Physical and chemical laboratory testing procedures Microsoft Office and various other computer applications Basic mathematics, statistical analysis, and particle size distributions High school diploma or GED equivalent Benefits: Excellent Healthcare Benefits - medical, vision, dental 401K with company matching.
