Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

Assists in the execution of test protocols and procedures. Sets up and operates test equipment and records measurements under supervision.

Participates in Equipment and Test Method validations development at the direction of the validation leader

Maintains lab documentation, maintains accurate data, and organizes and presents data in a reportable format

Understands packaging laboratory equipment.

Maintains good laboratory practices (GLP) consistent with MDS product development objectives and regulatory guidelines

Maintains a working knowledge of Packaging testing procedures and ISO and FDA regulatory requirements

Must be able to lift 30-pound boxes and comply with safety policies and procedures outlined by Client policies.

Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficiency in personal computer software, especially Excel

Ability to work in a team

Effective communication skills (written/verbal)

Ability to integrate written and verbal instructions, work under supervision

Basic organizational and math skills

Basic knowledge of standard laboratory practices

Ability to collect, record and report data accurately. Detail oriented.
