Lab Technician

Nesco Resource is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join the team of one of our long-term clients in the Pontiac area. This role primarily supports the Lab Team with all necessary test performances. This shift is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM until 4 PM, and the pay rate is $16/hour.

• Determines conformance of test samples to specifications.
• Support product testing setup, operation, and data collection.
• Ensures conformance of laboratory to ISO 17025 requirements.
• Maintain overall order of cleanliness of lab area.
• Supports test equipment preventive maintenance.
• Communicate project status.
• Maintain quality, confidentiality, and impartiality policies.
• Ensure continuous improvement of cycle, process, capacity, lab output, plan resources for maximum profitability.

• Knowledge of ISO 17025.
• Knowledge of the customer-specific specifications and requirements
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of lab testing.
• General computer skills
• Good organizational skills

• Proficient in verbal and written communication - English.
