Lab Technician

We're expanding. Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. We are one of the fastest growing consumer-packaged goods (CPG) producers and ZYN is the number one selling nicotine pouch in the US. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Lab Technician, 2nd shift for the Owensboro, KY manufacturing facility. Major Responsibilities Include: Perform necessary calculations on analytical results. Responsible for sample preparation, preparation of solutions and extractions. Responsible for routine moisture, pH, and water activity of tobacco samples, tobacco derived nicotine samples and finished products. Responsible for clean glassware and related supplies, disposal of hazardous waste, and cleanliness of laboratory. Provide support to other employees in the Analytical Lab. Responsible for accurate record keeping and data entry. Provide support to Production, R&D, Quality Assurance and Leaf Operations.
