Test Lab What you'll be doing as a Lab Technician The Lab Technician is responsible for laboratory operations and cross section preparation and evaluation. The Lab Technician works within an AS9100 continuous improvement quality culture. Test New Products and raw materials on a daily basis. Document processing conditions, test results, and other data. Capability of maintaining a safe and clean work area with FOD free objective. Assist with inventory and equipment surveillance for all operational, safety, regulations along with policies, and procedures. Demonstrate working knowledge of laboratory practices. Continuously enhance portfolio for proficient Operation of all lab equipment. Assist in creating new products of various composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies. Other tasks as related and requested i.e. Conduct Quality audits and inspections; Execute trial plans; Develop and document new test plans. Skills You Bring To this Role Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective team player, with good critical thinking skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel. Working knowledge of materials testing equipment. What you need to be successful High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of relevant experience working in a laboratory environment required. Proficiency in Laboratory practices, Lab Work Flow, Sense of Urgency, Industry Test Methods. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands. Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools. Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks. Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues. Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
