Lab Technician

We are seeking a Lab Technician to work third shift from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.; however, some weekend work may be required.

Job Duties:

Analytical testing on raw materials and finished product samples
Retention shelf-life examinations
Sanitation swabbing of equipment and inspection of production areas
Monitor production process and observe employees
Conduct package quality inspections and isolate product that does not meet standards
Enter data of analysis on Excel spreadsheet
Wash and sanitize equipment and testing areas of quality control lab
Maintain production schedule and attendance
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:

Must have prior production or manufacturing experience or relevant Lab Technician experience
Must be familiar with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
Must have the ability to conduct inspections and read, write, and keep accurate records
Must have strong analytical skills while paying a high attention to detail
Must be proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
