JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary: Performs laboratory maintenance and prepares beverages in a research laboratory under minimal supervision by applying standard scientific techniques and analytical principles. Primary Responsibilities: Process incoming inventory of ingredients and supplies (e.g. receiving logging labeling storing) to ensure that materials are traceable and properly stored. Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g. cleaning/sanitizing troubleshooting conducting preventative maintenance calibrating and repairing). Maintain pilot plant equipment and instrumentation Maintain laboratory GMP s cleanliness organization and stocking of required supplies maintaining clean and glassware and laboratory countertops. Prepare syrups and beverages according to mixing instructions and to guidance from product developers and scientists. Record data from analyses calibrations maintenance cleaning and experiments in a computer log book or laboratory notebook. Identify classify maintain and protect files documentation and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements. Clean/sanitize change valves seals gaskets and perform other general maintenance on figals and dispensing equipment for carbonated beverage production. Support stability studies: Product labeling placement into required storage areas and sample pulls. Assist with preparing shipping documentation and staging large product shipments Laboratory Practices: Knowledge and application of Good Laboratory Practices (e.g. handling of chemicals and glassware preparation of standards and reagents proper measuring techniques data management housekeeping). Laboratory Safety and Environmental Protection: The ability and willingness to apply HAZMAT environmental and OSHA policies. This includes the safe handling of chemicals and glassware the use of personal protective equipment and Company safety rules. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.-
