Lab Tech

Perform laboratory tests and experiments using molecular biology techniques, microbiological methods, and histology procedures Collect and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Federal and State regulations and quality control guidelines Prepare samples for testing, including sample collection, processing, and storage Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results Assist in the development of new laboratory protocols and procedures Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, microbiology, biochemistry) Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques, microbiology methods, and quality control principles Familiarity with industrial laboratory practices and Federal/ State regulations is a plus Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of Industrial terminology is beneficial Strong mathematical skills for data analysis
