Job Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range : $25/hr. on W2.
Job Description:
Job Duties Include:
Manual and Automated vessel decontamination
Perform hazardous waste consolidation.
Breaking down and cleaning stainless steel chemical containers
Acid wash stainless steel vessels, quartz vessels, laboratory glassware
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets and written work instructions.
A strong focus on safety and quality
Ability to use hand tools.
Support 6S activities/projects: lab organizing, cleaning, sorting, and sustaining.
Responsible for managing chemical waste in the R&D Labs
Chemical Hood cleaning
Support chemical system building under supervision and guidance.
Support chemical purification/distillation activities.
Physical Attributes:
Wear a full-face air-purifying respirator and other PPE.
Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs.
Bend, stoop, squat, crawl, kneel, climb, and or reach above shoulder.
Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, masks, and or steel toed safety shoes.
