What are we looking for in our Lab Services Associate?
The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Lab Services Associate for a world-class Life Science client near Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities
- Support coordination of laboratory needs
- Notify inventory team of shortages (glassware, lab coats, PPE, consumables, etc.)
- Support and coordinate waste removal from labs
- Act as liaison for third party vendors to customer lab staff for maintenance and/or repairs visits
- Meet with key stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in a customer facing role in a scientific environment preferred
Additional Details:
- Not a hands-on lab testing role. Will provide operational support in the lab where needed.
- Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
- 1 year contract with possibility for extension
- 100% onsite position
- Pay rate range: $24-29/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
