Quality Engineer
The Impact You ll Make in this Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Assuring compliance to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and external standards. Leading Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Risk Management, Risk Reviews, and change control.
Providing quality assurance and control for FDA regulated products including incoming materials and final release testing.
Supporting Solventum Product Manufacturing through the maintenance of standards (Raw material, Product inspection, Test Method).
Supporting Outsourced Manufacturing: Quality Plans, Commercial Supplier Standards, CoAs, SCARs, and Drug Product Batch Record Reviews.
Leading Post Market product support: Complaint analysis/trending, Stability Studies, Risk Management Updates.
Leading investigations, corrective action responses, trending and monitoring for nonconforming materials, complaints, risk reviews, and supplier issues.
Interacting with our plant manufacturing locations and suppliers.
Driving quality and continuous improvement.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor s degree or higher in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited institution
Previous experience working in a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated device or drug environment
Working knowledge of root cause analysis tools and techniques
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of statistical and quality engineering tools such as exploratory data analysis, basic statistics, Gage R&R, Analysis of Variance, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Capability, acceptance sampling, correlation and regression, and experimental design
American Society for Quality, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification or willingness to obtain
Experience in successfully leading teams and projects
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and writing/using data queries, extracts and analysis
Professional verbal and written communication skills
