The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity available. The F-22 Raptor team is seeking a Lab Operations Engineering Technician to join the F-22 Lab Team in Berkeley, MO. We are looking for someone with experience in an aviation career field or testing in a lab environment. Someone that can work and support a diverse team of engineers & technicians and help maintain lab facilities and capabilities. The Boeing test group consists of the F-22 Agile Integration Lab (AIL), 757 Flying Test Bed (FTB), & Boeing Software Development Lab (BSDL) located in St. Louis, MO. The AIL/FTB has the unique capability to fly prototype software and hardware as well as participate in F-22 Flight Test exercises. As a highly productive, talented, self-motivated, and creative member of the team, you will work with multiple engineering and support groups in a dynamic team environment, on both ongoing operational efforts and exciting future projects. Position Responsibilities: Provide support and facilitate various lab and facilities infrastructure support organizations in maintaining Lab. Facilitate across a broad widely diverse team including Engineering, program leadership, site facilities, program security. Support Lab operations engineering in developing and maintaining the lab standard operations procedures and supporting documentation. Support coordination of laboratory activities, maintenance and repairs. Coordinate/Collaborate with Internal and External Suppliers and Customers Organize and build parts kits for project fabrication and installation Operate simulations and avionics within lab to facilitate testing Operate as non-flight crew, crew member onboard FTB during missions Troubleshoot and maintain 1553, fiber optics, ethernet, and avionics systems Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Lab Operations Engineering Technicians. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final US Secret clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance 1+ years of experience in laboratory operations Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Active Secret Clearance Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematic and diagrams Experience with work flow scheduling Experience with working in military logistics and/or working contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense Experience with Program Management & Project Management Experience with aviation avionics Typical Education/Experience: Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.). Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor +1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
