Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Follow permit requirements to collect and test compounds and samples, using applied methods and techniques, and policies of this company Enter quantities, volumes and analytical results into waste management software (WMS/Preview) Assist with QA/QC analytical screening parameters as dictated by permit. Follow all approved Laboratory SOPs Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards including the proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemical agents. Assist in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment Qualifications Experience, Knowledge, and Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED 40-hour OSHA training with 8-hour refresher courses Must be proficient with Microsoft Office or related software to draft laboratory reports and enter test results Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and Outlook Working knowledge of standard laboratory procedures and the ability to learn new processes Additional Information Clean Earth offers competitive benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability plans, as well as a 401k with company matching.
