Location: Lee Health - Department: Laboratory - Workdays/Nights: Variable All Locations - Shift: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd - to Fort Myers, FL 33901 - Work Type: Full Time, Part-Time or PRN - Exempt: No Job Summary Laboratory Assistant I Phlebotomy Inpatient All Locations - All Shifts Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN $1500 HIRING INCENTIVE FOR NEW EMPLOYEES - Phlebotomy Experience Strongly Preferred Summary: The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratory depending on the shift and facility location. Clinical duties include specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy and sweat collection, sample tracking including the cancellation and crediting of laboratory tests, and processing of send out testing. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distributing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the Laboratory information system.
