Kindergarten

Duties The teacher will create an inclusive, collaborative, learning environment that values and honors each student's unique cultural background, abilities, and attributes. She/he will instruct their class using D90 curriculum and teaching practices. He/she will collaborate with other classroom teachers, the Student Services Team, the Specialists, and support staff. The teacher is responsible for the supervision and management of the class, effectively teaching the curriculum to meet individual needs of students, evaluating individual progress and communicating progress with children and parents. Attending to students' individual SEL, cultural, and academic learning needs is integral to the teacher's practice. The teacher will take initiative and fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the D90 Mission and Vision and the D90 Core Values and Commitments.
