Primary Function of Position
The Key Account Directorplays a critical role in building and developing the installed base ofdaVinciSurgical Systems within key account represented facilities in the United States. The major responsibilities are to manage and direct the corporate level sales of daVinciSurgical Systems and to grow the utilization through increased procedures. This will be accomplished through a variety of activities including corporate level relationships, hospital/account specific activities and direct interaction with ISI Area Sales Managers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide single point of contact for all executive IDN groups
- Align strategic resources with Academic customers to help them achieve their tripartite mission of Education, Research and Clinical Care
- Develop and coordinate full IDN strategy across multiple sales teams, customer touch points and internal business units
- Provides clients with product information, demonstrations, etc.
- Manage key surgeons/customer relationships
- Effective involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning process
- Extensive travel within the assigned territory
