Key Account Manager, Lexington, US

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our sales team in Tecnosicurezza in Lexington/Kentucky, USA.This person will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers and business partners as well as achieving sales targets and growing the business.

The role of the Key Account Manager is to manage the end-to-end sales process by identifying commercial opportunities in the region, managing account planning across the customer base and driving the execution of regional and local sales strategies.

Purpose of the position is to drive business growth, broadening the market share, as well as securing product positioning.

What You Will Do

  • Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products in the international area of responsibility
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with our customers to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives
  • Research key customer wants and needs
  • Suggest solutions that answer clients' needs and wants
  • Serve as a contact point for customers and internal teams
  • Resolve customers' complaints in an effective and respectful way
  • Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology and product delivery
  • Research and source new potential clients
  • Measure, track and analyze key account metrics
  • Create reports for upper management
  • Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices
  • Actively use your CRM tools
  • Take part in the trade fairs, conferences, business meetings
  • Promote our products and brand

Who we are looking for

  • Person with a technical education
  • Proven experience in the sales department as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Fluent English
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude in networking and building relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Act in a target and result-oriented manner
