We are seeking a driven, experienced, and dedicated Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an incredible opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their expertise in a B2B setting, specifically within the food or beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Key Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage, nurture, and grow our key industrial accounts. You will be the face of our company, working closely with our customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth. Your role will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key industrial accounts.
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Develop a short and long term strategic plan for the region and each key account
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Communicating clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
  • Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborating with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Assisting with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Organize and attend trade shows to promote business.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid foundation of skills and experience, including:

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience with industrial key accounts in a B2B environment, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, food science, or equivalent.
  • A hunter mentality, always seeking out new opportunities for growth.
  • An in-depth knowledge of bakery ingredients and bakery operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong relationships.
  • High proficiency in MS Office.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish speaking) are preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire.
  • A self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Up to 50% travel required
