KC 135 Pilot

Position Summary Pilots-in-command (PICs) are aircraft commanders aboard Metrea Strategic Mobility's (MSM) KC-135 tanker aircraft. Essential Functions Statements
• Command a crew of 3 while responding to a variety of emergency and non-emergency scenarios.

• Conduct procedurally correct and expeditious pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections, checklists, and documentation.

• Maintain Situational Awareness (SA) and use Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout all phases of flight.
• Adhere to company Flight Operation Procedures (FOPs), Ground Operation Procedures (GOPs), FAA regulations, and Safety Notices.

• Maintain all currencies, qualifications, and advanced systems knowledge related to the MSM KC-135 tanker fleet. Competency Statements

• Set a high standard for providing our customers with world-class air refueling.

• Knowledgeable on the use of Foreflight.

• Must have the ability to travel at least 7 days per month. Supervisory Responsibility
This role has supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment
This job operates inside a KC-135. Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with varying working hours to meet the US government customer requirements, department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager. Facility Location: Metrea Strategic Mobility 17301 Heacock St

Travel requirements a minimum of 7 days per month Required Education, Experience, and Certificates
Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience:
• 100 hours of flight time in KC-135 Aircraft Computer Skills: Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite Programs Certificates:

• Minimum of FAA Flying Class 2 Physical
• Current US Passport

• FCC Radiotelegraph Operators Permit

• Must be able to hold & maintain a Top Secret (or higher) clearance level. Preferred Education, Experience, and Certificates
• Bachelor's Degree

• US Air Force Instrument/Qualification, KC-135 check-ride in the previous 12 months

• KC-135R IP/EP experience in the previous 51 months

• KC-135 Block 30 experience

• KC-135 MPRS experience

• Current MEI and CFII certificate Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance.
Must have good command of the English language; oral and written. Work Authorization/Security Clearance
