What the Junior Tax Accountant will do
- Prepare work papers for outside tax consultants.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns for multiple states
- Review and analyze assets for purposes of tangible personal property reporting
- Prepare and file tangible tax returns
- Maintain current state registrations, including filing the annual reports and business licenses
- Respond to various tax matters and assist in complex tax matters as necessary
What the company needs in a Junior Tax Accountant:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of tax experience
- CIT, SALT, TPPT; payroll taxes are a bonus
- SAP experience preferred
- Highly motivated individual
