Job Title: Junior Project Estimator

Our client, a leader in providing high-quality Architectural Products and Interiors for Elevator Interiors, Specialty Architectural Products, and Systems, is seeking a Junior Project Estimator to join their growing team.

The Junior Estimator is a key player in our project estimation and management processes. This role is designed for individuals passionate about building a career in construction estimation and project management. You will be actively involved in the initial phases of project planning, including cost estimation and scheduling, and play a crucial role in the oversight and documentation of project execution. This position offers a pathway to professional growth within a supportive and dynamic environment, allowing you to contribute significantly to our goal of delivering exceptional architectural design and installation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating: Lead in the preparation of detailed project estimates, analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to accurately forecast the cost, labor, materials, and time required for project completion.

Project Management Support: Assist in overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Work closely with project managers to monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as necessary.

Project Documentation: Take charge of compiling and managing essential project documents, including punch lists, sign-off sheets, bills of lading, and close-out documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with project teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of estimating and project management processes, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, especially in interpreting technical documents and blueprints.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software.

A proactive learner with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
