This is a position where you'll learn the full scope of a Wastewater project from the Operator-in-Training position up through the Project Manager position. Our goal is to help build your career with development as a future Project Manager with Jacobs. You'll work with project leadership and staff with an integration plan with structured milestones to learn all Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities and responsibilities as well as work with the Project Manager to learn O&M systems and tools to provide superior client support. Working with other members of our team you'll build your knowledge of the operations, maintenance modification, and improvement of one or more wastewater treatment plants and appurtenant facilities. You'll also learn about our operational process control procedures, maintenance procedures, and help achieve full compliance with regulatory agency water quality and solids disposal requirements. Here's what you'll need : + Bachelor's Degree in Science related field to be applied to education requirements for State certifications. + Ability to obtain a Class I wastewater license within the first year of employment + Proficiency with Microsoft Office + Valid driver's license with no major infractions + Ability to travel up to 25% Ideally, You'll Also Have: + Ability to operate SCADA systems and other computerized equipment + Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong technical problem-solving skills + Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
