We are currently looking for a Junior Door Technician to join our team, who shares our desire to deliver the very best to our customers. This is a full time position with hours of operation Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, $18.00- $24.00 per hour depending on experience (any work performed before or after work hours is paid at double time); medical benefits, and retirement plan offered. Successful completion of substance test and a background check are mandatory.




Typical Duties and Responsibilities


• Install and service various types of industrial and commercial doors and dock equipment.


• Collaborate with the Lead Door Technician to ensure efficient service delivery.


• Problem solve and troubleshoot dock or door maintenance issues.


• Maintain company truck, inventory, and tools.


• Communicate and report daily with management.


• Complete all work assignments in a professional manner.


• Maintain safe work environment, take proper precautions to ensure safety measures are in place and utilized.


• Establish and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines and vendors.


• Support warehouse operations and tasks as needed.


• Receive daily assignments from the Service Manager.


Required Skills/Abilities:


• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.


• Understanding of standard and metric measurements.


• Good decision-making skills and response to high pressure situations.


• Proficiency in both spoken and written communication.


• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.


Education and Experience:


• High School Diploma/GED required.


• Prior experience in field service, installation, construction, mechanics, or electrical work preferred.


• Minimum of one year in a commercial/service industry technician role preferred.


• Valid driver's license (required) with good driving record.


Physical Requirements:


• Must be able to climb and work from ladders, height up to 40 ft.


• Must be able to access and navigate office and warehouse (including mezzanine stairs).


• Must be able to lift 75lbs pounds at a time.


• Must be able to operate company truck as needed.


Travel Requirements:


• Local travel to job sites regularly, with occasional opportunities for overnight stays; accommodations and meals provided.

Compensation details: 18-24 Hourly Wage
