A week in the life of a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer: Research and recommend cybersecurity architectures and procedures, executing cybersecurity vulnerability testing in mixed network environments. Generate and manage cybersecurity Assessment and documentation. Participate in technical meetings, providing cybersecurity services for military tactical/non-tactical, Electronics Support Measures suites and relational database applications. Job Requirements Associate's degree in Cyber Security or related field OR High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience. Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance Possess or readily able to obtain DoD 8140.03 Cybersecurity Workforce certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent and an operating systems certification such as Microsoft Technology Associate, CompTIA Linux+ or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA At least 3+ years of experience in: Information systems vulnerability scanning tools, e.g., DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and Security Readiness Review (SRR) scripts. The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
