Job Title: Junior Construction Site Manager

Overview: As a junior construction site manager, you will assist senior managers in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. You'll work closely with the project team to ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities:

Assist in Project Planning: Collaborate with senior managers in developing project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

On-Site Supervision: Work on-site to supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services.

Quality Control: Monitor construction quality and workmanship to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications.

Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site inspections, and change orders.

Problem Solving: Identify and address issues that arise during construction, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen site conditions.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

Cost Control: Assist in monitoring project costs and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and minimizing budget overruns.

Team Support: Provide support to the project team as needed, including assisting with scheduling, logistics, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.

Familiarity with construction management software and tools.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

$40,000 - $45,000 a year
