JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Our client located in Westbrook, is a reputable GREEN company with operations in CT, MD, and FL. They have partnered with CFS to identify a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their tenured team.

What you'll do as a Junior Accountant:
- Checking and inputting orders from the Sales Department into our ERP system.
- Accounts Payable. Match invoicing with contract and proof of delivery.
- Collaborating with the shipping department to process truck papers from PPE.
- Reviewing and approving freight invoices for payment by cross-referencing invoices with contracts and proof of delivery.
- Utilizing Excel and Google spreadsheets for various tasks, including checking customer pricing in PPE against published pricing, maintaining SKU and UPC databases in PPE, and managing inventory of rolling racks at multiple locations.
- Handling customer credit disputes using designated software.
- Preparing, scanning, and logging accounting documents accurately.
- Establishing and maintaining an organized electronic filing system for invoices, contracts, and proof of deliveries.
What you'll need to succeed as a Junior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred
- Intermediate Excel (including pivot tables and xlookups)
- Inventory Experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
