Jr System Administrator with Security Clearance

RMC is hiring a System Administrator to support one of our customers at Webster Field Annex in St. Inigoes, MD. The selected applicant will: Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses Requirements A Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related field is required. In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant work experience or certifications/training are required. At least one (1) year of experience in network design, administration, procedures and troubleshooting is required. The selected applicants must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments. Security Clearance: An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required . Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
