Description:

As a Junior IT Technician at American Health Marketplace, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and

ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT systems. This role involves basic technical support, hardware maintenance,

software installation/updates, user account management, network support, data backup, and recovery. You will work under

the guidance of experienced IT professionals in our Main Office, gaining exposure to various IT functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via in-person, remote, and phone channels.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for various IT equipment.
Setup and maintain user accounts, access controls, and security permissions.
Assist with network administration tasks, including user account management and password resets.
Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Document and maintain accurate records of support activities in the knowledge base.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades and software deployments.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends for proactive support and recommendations.
Adhere to company policies regarding IT security, data privacy, and equipment usage.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required. Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity applications (Microsoft Office,
Google Workspace).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Prior experience in customer service or technical support roles is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift and move IT equipment.
Comfortable working in various environments, including evenings and weekends as needed.
