Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a permanent position, offering an incredible opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to payroll, job costing, handling invoices, bookkeeping, and using Vista and Bluebeam software.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your duties will include:

1. Managing payroll operations to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
2. Conducting job costing to assess the profitability of different projects and provide accurate forecasting.
3. Processing invoices, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and paid on time.
4. Performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining general ledgers.
5. Utilizing Vista and Bluebeam software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
6. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
7. Collaborating with the accounting team to implement financial policies and procedures.
8. Complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Junior Accountant position should have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Experience in an accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficient in payroll, job costing, handling invoices, and bookkeeping.
4. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
8. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
