Personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations and problem solving. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Must be able to pass drug screen and background check. Physical Demands: Must be physically able to be on feet 8 hours a day. Must be physically able to perform strenuous labor including lifting heavy objects (75lbs. and up) on a daily basis. Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold. Must be able to climb up and down a ladder numerous times throughout the day Primary Job Functions: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Review building plan and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials. Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures, install supports and hangers, assemble and install valves and fittings, and test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded and meet the requirements of the appropriate codes and environmental protection requirements. Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams. Keep your company truck clean (inside and out), maintain inventory, and properly complete paperwork. Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
