Our residential solar business in Maine continues to grow, and we're hiring an electrician to join our installation or service team.
As our Electrician, you'll be responsible for providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Assemble all components of a residential solar system
- Work with the crew and complete Photovoltaic system installs (PV)
- Follow safe work practices and ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner, compliant with all State and local codes and standards
- Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
- Provide quality customer service throughout the installation
- Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
- Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete
- Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to consistently produce quality work
Qualifications Requirements: - Journeyman or Limited Electrician Licensed Required
- Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Use time prioritization skills to achieve required timelines
- Ability to read and interpret single and three-line drawings
- High school diploma, GED
