Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a Joint Information Advantage Technologies SME with a technical expertise for warfighting capability development, integration, and transition of new technologies to join our exciting team at Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E . This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience with technical expertise in cutting edge technologies and application of technologies into new and innovative warfighting capabilities The person in this role will be an integrated team member of the Multi-Domain Joint Operations (MDJO) Directorate under the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Mission Capabilities (DCTO(MC within OUSD(R&E) assisting in closing time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component warfighting missions. In this role the candidate will provide subject-matter expertise in warfighting technologies and capabilities, delivering technical assessments and innovative approaches to address critical joint warfighting capability gaps. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to support technology transitions and prepare reports and briefings for DoD leadership. The ideal candidate has highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should have experience with advanced DoD weapon systems and their capabilities, concept of operations, and concepts of employment. The anticipated work location is in Falls Church, VA, on site.

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
20+ years of relevant work experience
Technical expertise in kinetic weapons/platforms, EW & non-kinetic effects, and/or defensive capabilities.
Experience leading the planning and execution of complex engineering and systems analysis efforts for the DoD and/or IC.
Organized with a strong attention to details
Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
