Joint Fires Project Manager Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education High school education required Bachelor's degree preferred TS/SCI Courses: 1 JT-101 - Introduction to Joint Multi-TDL Network (JKO-J3O-US1380 JT-102 - (MAJIC) Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course JT-201 - Multi-TDL Planners Course JT-301 - CAPSTONE- Joint Interface Control Officer Course (JICO) LMMT Experience Required 3-years experience working in a US Joint Interface Control Cell (CONUS or OCONUS) Technical expert in Multi-TDL network architectures and Joint Data Network (JDN) systems including Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), Joint Range Extension (JRE) system and Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J). Knowledge to develop Multi-TDL network architectures based on Joint Force industry requirements; to establish a Multi-TDL structure and identify and document data and message traffic flow. Skilled in the development of an OPTASKLINK; manage a multi-TDL network and understanding data link standards. Knowledge of data guards and data release protection mechanisms. Job Objective Serve as technical expert/advisor to leadership on operations, maintenance, and configuration of complex Tactical Data Link (TLD) Systems. Assist in development of plans, coordination, management, and execution of mission and theater objectives. Serves as a subject matter expert on the employment and operations of communications systems Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and report link statuses; proactively identify and resolve issues related to the Multi-TDL domain. Develop and maintain interface control documents, to include but not limited to the Operational Tasking Data Links (OPTASKLINK) and Tactical Operations Data (TACOPDAT). Develop and maintain training materials and provide training to personnel as required. Provide input and recommendations to management on system and interface performance. Assist in the development of plans and policies related to all tactical data link interfaces. Participate in regular Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) and Tactical Data Link (TDL) meetings. Participate in all TDL and Link 16 Control Boards and TDL Conferences. Performs other duties as required. Complete yearly TFAs (Temporary Frequency Assignments) for all training locations. Update, test, and provide all Individual Load Files (IDL) for all training locations to be used with PRC-161 for network access. Apply for a Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server Account (LPDS) as the NSWG1 Deconfliction Coordinator. Maintain and update account monthly for training deconfliction and usage of Link-16 systems in all training areas required. Maintain Integration of NSW RF Link 16 radios (PRC-161, MOJO (Move Out/Jump Off), MOJO mini) with Joint Link 16 networks Maintain POCs and communication with all Joint Link 16 networks the NSWG-1 interacts with routinely (3rd/7th FLTs, PACAF/Okinawa, Nellis AFB, Hill AFB, Mountain Home AFB, NAS Fallon, etc). Ensure IDLs have appropriate capabilities and priorities for above Link 16 networks and distribute IDLs to NSWG-1 units. Coordinate with above network JICOs and Network Design Facilities (NDFs) as new networks are developed at the above locations. Assist the NSWG-1 Frequency manager with submission, monitoring and maintaining Temporary Frequency Assignments (TFAs) and Permanent Frequency Assignments (PFAs) through USSOCOM for RF Link 16 operations at all NSWG-1 training locations. Integration of NSW TCP/IP connectivity (JREAP-C) with Joint Link 16 networks that NSWG-1 interacts with routinely (3rd/7th FLTs, PACAF/Okinawa, Nellis AFB, Hill AFB, Mountain Home AFB, NAS Fallon, etc) Establish and maintain firewall exemptions for JREAP-C connectivity to above link 16 networks. Establish JREAP-C connectivity to link 16 networks as requested by NSWG-1 units. Establish and maintain ability for NSWG-1 units to provide requested targeting data into link 16 networks.
