JOB TITLE ( 25001): Licensed Practical Nurse/ Skilled Nursing Facility- Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 1 year experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Jersey City, NJ
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
- Must have an active New Jersey State license
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in rehabilitative or geriatric
- Must be able to withstand strenuous physical activity
- Must possess manual dexterity to handle instruments and equipment and visual and aural acuity to detect changes in residents' conditions
- Must possess understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with infirm, chronic, or acutely ill residents, their families, and visitors
- Must have the ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public
- Must have general knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and an understanding of supervisory responsibilities
- Must have the ability to work independently, problem solve, and make decisions as necessary
- Must have the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in the English language, which may be of a technical nature
Benefits of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- The salary for this position is $40 / hr
- The is a Full-time or Per Diem position
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
- Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
- Ensure that patients take their medication.
- Assist doctors and registered nurses.
- Liaise with patients' families.
