We are looking for a Job Coach to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for teaching job candidate's specific worksite duties and provide direction with general work habit in order to prepare them for, secure and maintain successful competitive employment. Responsibilities: Ascertain barriers to job candidate employment, such as inaccessible worksites, inflexible schedules, and transportation problems. Assist in the planning and implementation of systems development to improve efficiencies and productivity, including but not limited to providing observation data, one-on-one job candidate training and feedback to supervisors. Assist job candidates in achieving their employment goals; provide individual training and/or job coaching as appropriate; job site intervention(s), and job site supervisor support and assistance. Ensure accurate and timely documentation and case note information are completed as required. Provide relevant, valid, and supportive feedback to job candidates. Work in conjunction with Program Manager in the development, implementation, and team teaching of specific skills necessary for employability, using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussion or videos. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in human services or related area is preferred, high school graduate or GED required. Two years of work experience in human services field preferred. Acceptable criminal and dependent adult/child abuse background checks. Knowledge of dynamics of barriers to employment Strong computer proficiency Knowledge of skills needed for conducting job search and ability to conduct such searches online Ability to organize work and carry out community assignments independently.
