our Houston headquartered client is seeking an experienced JD Edwards Techno-functional expert to join their team focusing on the manufacturing, distribution, and financial areas. In this role you will work across the organization helping to optimize processes, ensure best practices, and provide strong JD Edwards understanding to existing and new issues and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
The JDE Business Analyst will utilize their strong functional and technical understanding combined with solid communication and problem-solving skills to guide in design, development, deployment and ongoing support of mission-critical information and software systems.
The successful person will report to the Enterprise Application Manager while providing application support, work with internal customers, and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
Duties And Responsibilities
Design, configure, develop, implement, test, and maintain JD Edwards applications.
Must have working experience Distribution, Manufacturing, and Financials modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to gather requirements and understand business processes.
Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards development and support activities.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Preferred experience working with upgrades, migrations and 3 rd party integrations.
Preferred knowledge of web development tools such as HTML, CSS, and JAvascript
Excellent Communication
Prior application support experience
Ability to create high quality written documentation.
Equip IQ knowledge and skills preferred
Utilize understanding an technical knowledge of Vertex.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS/BA degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional and technical knowledge acquired through work
5 -7 years of experience in JD Edwards development and functional support.
Proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.6 (Release 22 or higher), with expertise in Supply Chain Management, and Financials.
- Experience with JD Edwards development tools including OMW, RDA, FDA, BI Publisher, Orchestration, SQL.
Must have technical knowledge in SQL Query and XML
Hybrid work schedule with some travel possible.
