Job description:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using Java and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Optimize and refactor existing codebase for improved performance and maintainability.

Implement automated testing and continuous integration to ensure high-quality code and rapid delivery.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the development team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Java backend development.

Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other related frameworks and libraries.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures.

Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
