I. General Summary: Provide support for TBA Smart factory manufacturing execution system including: new plant implementations, PLC interface development, and ongoing system support.

II. Essential Job Functions:
A. Provide technical support and consultation for new implementations of TBA Regional manufacturing execution system (TBA MES).
B. Develop custom extensions that interface with TBA MES and augment production processes. This may include interfaces with PLC's, Kepware, and other PE standard systems.
C. Provide front line support for technical issues (L1 and L2).
D. Work with third party vendor on tracking and resolution of items requiring application changes.
E. Conduct systems training for users and handle follow-up functionality questions and on-going education tasks. Work with plant IT on train-the-trainer activities to educate local plant IT.
F. Maintain a positive working relationship with customer users, IT technical staff, and business/functional staff at all TBAGC.
G. Assist in developing testing (i.e., System and User Acceptance Testing) for new functionality and rollout of products and services.
H. Work with customer to identify improvement requests, gather requirements and assist in prioritizing work.
I. Develop specifications for third party vendor for application improvements or customizations.
J. Interface with customer on status of projects and support issues.
K. Work with Engineering, business, and IT communities throughout the TBAGC to identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes.
L. Work with IT management to ensure all activities are consistent with established TBA IT standards and expectations.
M. Maintain support documentation including architecture, design, and training documents.

III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:
Greater than six (6) years of relevant experience.
Five (5) years of experience implementing and maintaining manufacturing execution systems for a tier one automotive supplier.
1 - 2 years of software development experience preferred.
Visual Basic .NET development experience.
Visual Studio experience.
SQL Server/Transact-SQL experience.
Web development experience.
Kepware experience
Inductive automation(Ignition), Rockwell, experience preferred-(Scada systems, AI, historian)

PLC Programming, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley, and other Controllers
Understanding of network fundamentals and switch configurations.

Language Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Japanese, Spanish, or Portuguese would be helpful, but are not required.

Computer/Software:
Solid understanding of information systems and their effect on processes and controls.
Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Outlook, Internet, Oracle, etc.).
Plant Engineering (PE) related Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software

IV. Work Environment/Conditions:
Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.
Plant: N/A
Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

V. Physical Demands:
Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
