On our team, you will be t rus ted to serve as an IT strategy consultant, working closely with various Department of Defense clients to provide research and analysis on a full range of CIO and IT activities, including strategic planning, governance, IT policy , data and information management, mission partner information sharing, IT industry research, and emerging te chn ologies. You will recommend and implement information te chn ology solutions in support of business operations and assess client requirements and seek opportunities to apply te chn ologies to business processes. You will advise clients on functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements of te chn ology solutions and apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems, speak for the organization to internal and external clients, and work on long-range programs and objectives. Clients will expect you to provide advice to the organization in area of expertise and play a role in overall functional strategic planning. You will perform research on IT policy and standards as well as define, analyze, and document functional requirements and business processes and c ond uct cost benefit analyses. You will translate research into policy and guidance statements and support relevant meetings, working groups, and briefings. In this role, you'll directly impact the client organizations by helping to deliver a mission-enabling, consistent and continuous IT user experience for all client employees. You Have: 6+ years of experience with client facing IT consulting
Experience with defining, establishing, leading, and implementing te chn ology transformation projects
Experience with developing IT strategy and c ond ucting IT strategy assessments, capturing current or targeted states, developing performance metrics and tracking performance, and building actionable recommendations or roadmaps
Ability to provide representative writing and presentation samples upon request
Ability to show te chn ical expertise and perform deep-dive te chn ical activities with application, data, and infrastructure teams, as needed
Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: 2+ years of experience with Agile sof tware development or architecture initiatives
Knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, Agile, Big Data, design thi nk ing, Agile sof tware delivery, or similar preferred
Knowledge of IT requirements analysis, operations and logistics, organizational analysis and design, performance management, program management, and project management preferred
Knowledge of business case analysis, business process analysis, business transformation, organizational change management, or similar preferred
Ability to research, conceptualize, and create IT strategy tools and products tailored for client initiatives and organizational needs, including DevOps assessments or Cloud migration roadmaps
Ability to learn new te chn ical concepts, practices, and principles on the fly to create system design plans from stakeholder intake
Ability to scout IT trends, apply industry IT patterns and practices, and apply actionable applied solutions across CIO or CTO focus areas

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
