Department: Operations Responsibilities:
• Perform daily backup operations ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.

• Conduct monthly scan and identify vulnerabilities in the ESS network in accordance with all applicable DoD References and recommend corrective action to the PHYSEC Branch Leadership.

• Provide daily monitoring, review, analysis and evaluation of ESS process, technology and assess and recommend upgrades as needed to maintain system viability.
• Apply OS patches and/or STIGs and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure and add new services as necessary. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

• Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports on system health, system accuracy, system operations, and other metrics as required by the PHYSEC Branch Chief in maintaining the uninterrupted protection of classified information processing areas.
• Integrate ESS hardware with ESS network infrastructure such as: network switches, servers, fiber transfer systems, battery back-up systems, and other devices as required to successfully operate the ESS.

• Train users on equipment operation and maintenance, generate and dispense user codes, and provide end-user training documentation as required by the PHYSEC Branch Leadership. Retain copies of documentation for one (1) year.

• Compile, gather, verify, and submit all systems data pertaining to artifacts, existing diagrams, and other necessary documentation required for the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Packages and Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation. Ensure C&A documentation is populated and maintained in the appropriate classified or unclassified Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS). Maintain current RMF documentation for all IT systems under this contract, and provide to the Government upon request. Semi-annually, the Contractor shall verify that only accredited systems and applications (classified and unclassified) are connected to, or use the security network.

• Adhere to incident reporting requirements and handling procedures as required by USSOUTHCOM regulations, and CJCSI Cyber Conditions (CYBERCON). Education: possess an Associate degree or (5) years specialized experience Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Experience: IT Specialist shall have experience in: Windows Server operating systems (Windows 2012 Server, etc.) as well as experience with Unix/Linux administration; administering core network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.); "Virtualization" i.e. Hyper-V; "Database" i.e. SQL; Network Storage Server i.e. NETAPP; Network/Server monitoring verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups; performing daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary significant experience in Windows Server operating systems (Windows 2012 Server, etc.) as well as experience with Unix/Linux administration; Training Certification All Contractor employees and subcontractor employees supporting IA/IT functions must be certified upon contract award as directed in DoD 8570.01-M, DFARS , and AR 25-2. Baseline certification as stipulated in DoD 8570.01-M must be completed. Requirements:
• TS/SCI clearance level

• knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g., SIPR, NIPR and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks), and the Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity rules and regulatory authorities to develop and implement policies and planning concepts, and project management methods.
• knowledge of governing laws, regulations, precedents, and directives governing DoD security programs (e.g. information, personnel, physical, industrial, etc.).
• general knowledge and perspective of the operational, procedural, and technical standards that achieve interoperability with other non-DoD Federal Government agencies.
• proficient using basic Microsoft Office software applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access).
• knowledge working with using Records Message Traffic (RMT) and the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS).
• A minimum of two (2) Information Security contractors shall be certified to operate destruction equipment, including a Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) Model 23/5 disintegrator.

• Obtain the "Lenel Certified Professional (LGE-Core, LGE-Access, and LGE- Enterprise)" level within 120 days
