IT Security Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Position: Cyber Systems Security Engineer (Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Required) Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job Description: System One is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX with a large Aerospace and Defense company. A Current, Active Secret Security Clearance is required for consideration. The Cyber Systems Security Engineer will be responsible for identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls on products. The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, to include continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any ATOs for products. Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software Verifying implementation of system security requirements Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs Required Skills: 5+ years' experience with IT Security/Cybersecurity, Systems Development, Systems Security, Systems Analysis & Design 2+ years' experience with Systems infrastructure, Embedded Systems, and Engineering Design Principles. 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
